How to Access the Plan Hero App - Participants & Carers
Once you download the Plan Hero Planability App, you can log in using your Plan Hero Planability username and password.
If you forget your login details, you can select Forgot Username or Password in the app and follow the steps to reset them.
After logging in, you will be able to view your funding, track spending, and review claims connected to your NDIS plan. Carers can also receive access provided they have the Participant’s consent.

How do I know how much NDIS funding I can actually spend right now?
Check your funding period balance, not your total plan balance. The Plan Hero portal and app show how much has been released for your current funding period, how much you have spent and how much is left.
What is an NDIS funding period?
A funding period is the timeframe in which part of your approved funding becomes available. Since 19 May 2025, most new and reassessed plans release funding in instalments, usually every three months.
Do funding periods reduce my total NDIS funding?
No. Your total approved funding stays the same. Funding periods change when you can access it, not how much you get.
How do I know if I am underspending?
Your plan summary shows time passed alongside budget used. If a much larger share of your plan has elapsed than you have spent, you are underspending and have time to act. Your plan manager will also call you if your spending looks off track.
Can my support coordinator see my funding?
Yes, with your consent. Support coordinators get their own secure login and can view funding period balances, spending by category, claim status and service agreements for the participants they support.
